Who spoke at the hearing?
We invited a number of leading Danish and international experts on social media and tech companies. Each presented proposals for stronger regulation—solutions that can either be implemented quickly in the Danish Parliament if politicians wish, introduced in the EU now that Denmark holds the presidency, or pursued outside the political system.

Dan Shefet, Danish-French lawyer who successfully sued Google over the “right to be forgotten,” now leading class-action lawsuits against several tech giants
David T. Madsen, psychologist, founder of Danish Treatment for Gaming and Online Addiction (DABECO), and expert on the harmful effects of social media on children and youth
Hans Franke, Dutch lawyer and head of SOMI, an organization conducting class-action lawsuits across several countries against major tech giants for violating EU directives (DSA, GDPR, AI Act)
